St. Peter’s College of Toril, Inc. Grade School Department celebrated United Nations Culmination 2022 last October 27 with the theme “Celebrate Diversities amidst New Normal Adversities”. The activity was held in the SPCT gymnasium which was organized by the Grade School Araling Panlipunan Area and was participated by all the Grade School pupils together with the teachers, staff, parents, and guardians.
The activity started with the costume parade participated by all the GS pupils. The pupils wore costumes to represent their assigned countries. Unlike before, the pupils got the chance this time to show their costumes to many audience as they marched from the Grade School campus and passed by the High School area to the SPCT gymnasium. They were welcomed by the guests, parents, and guardians as they entered the gym.
The highlights of this event were the presentations prepared by all the Grade School pupils as they represented their assigned country. Their assigned countries were randomly picked by the advisers: Pre Kinder- China, Kinder A – Spain, Kinder B- Japan, Gr.1 St. Anne- Egypt, Gr. 1 St. Benedict – Brazil, Gr.2 St. Andrew- India, Gr.2-St. Bridget- Italy, Gr.3 St. Anthony- Mexico, Gr.3 St. John Bosco- Singapore, Gr.4 St. Ambrose- South Korea, Gr.4 St. Bartholomew- United Kingdom, Gr.5 St. Agnes- Thailand, Gr.5 St. Barbara- Philippines, Gr.6 St. Agustine – Malaysia and Gr.6 Bernardine- Poland.
“To all the parents and guardians, for your limitless support and effort, and our Grade School pupils, who are the main characters in today’s culmination, for their overflowing talents and skills, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much. Without each one’s share, this event will not be successful” said Ms. Ella Mae Maquinto, the Grade School Activity Coordinator, during her closing remarks.
